Lynn Howes

Lynn is an actress and playwright. She graduated from LAMDA in 1995 following a degree at Brunel University in English Literature and Drama.

As an actor she has various Film, TV, Theatre and voice-over credits, along with role play and training experience.

Lynn’s writing credits include;

STAGE FRIGHT (2008) after an original idea by Stefan Lubomirski de Vaux. This play has had a staged reading at The Prince of Wales Theatre (Leicester Square, London) and was first produced at The Canal Cafe in February 2010 directed by Emma Taylor with Abi Titmuss, Sion Tudor Owen and Alex Barclay.

BEA a Paranormal Comedy (2007) performed at The Hen & Chickens (Islington, London) in February 2007 and at The Etcetera Theatre (Camden, London) in July 2008 and at The Riverhouse Arts Centre in February 2010.

CATHY’S KITCHEN (2000) which was first performed at The Noel Coward Studio and is published by The Playwrights Publishing Company.

GEMMA’S FRIENDS (1999) performed at The Blue Elephant Theatre in London and in Gloucester.

Lynn is actively involved in three theatre companies producing new writing.

Lynn is a Trustee of Standing on the Shoulders of Giants - new theatre company with artistic director Jennie Buckman.

A member of YAT (Youth Action Theatre) for many years and director of three main house shows for the group. (Cat With Green Violin in 2004, Emma in 2005 and At Break of Day in 2006).
