Stage Fright – a potted history...
Stefan Lubomirski de Vaux had an idea for a play (as outlined below) and posted an advert on the ArtsHub website for a writer who would bring it to life. For more information or to get a copy of the script – please contact Lynn Howes by email.
Stefan’s Original Idea...
To have three actors consecutively play the same roles, so we can see what actors bring to a role and give them a chance to act truly competitively for the audience’s admiration!
• Act 1 – the play is read for the first time
• Act 2 – the dress rehearsal
• Act 3 – the actual play
• The play is as much about the actors playing the play as about the play itself, so they need to be interesting rivalries, alliances, romances, treacheries etc.
